Designing a self-initiated information system that makes the nuances of surfing easier to understand and explore.
This personal project explores the mechanics, culture, and nuance of surfing through a detailed, long-form infographic. The concept, content, structure, and visual language were all self-directed, allowing for a playful yet informative approach to a complex sport.
The design combines illustration, data, and subtle animation to break down technical details while preserving the easy going vibe of the lifestyle.
